Details: | SUMMARY: Deficiency Follow Up DETAILS: Email to Bill Houck:Thank you for sending me the picture of the raw water sample tap. A couple of comments to improve things just a bit:1. I would like to see you put a couple of 90 degree elbows, or a 90 and a 45 degree elbow, on the outlet of the sample tap. The idea is for the sample tap to point down, thus eliminating or minimizing the chance of debris getting into the tap and potentially contaminating the water system or a raw water sample.2. Other storage inside the well house. The propane tanks and the ice melt (?) in the orange bags is probably not a problem. But the white jug, red cap and spray nozzle look a lot like a jug of insecticide or herbicide. THIS SHOULD NOT BE IN THE WELL HOUSE. Please remove any chemicals, poisons etc. that you would not want in your drinking water. Small chance of cross contamination, but big and bad consequences if it were to happen.Call or email if you have questions. Bill Houck responsed:I will take care of issues you outlined, thanks. ACTION NEEDED: Continue quarterly Coliform sampling. |
