| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat Positives, Total Coliform DETAILS: I contacted Mr. Bolton to advise him that due to the number of coliform investigations of the water system without removing the source of coliform, Oregon Health Authority Drinking Water Services (DWS) is requiring the installation of treatment to maintain a disinfectant residual throughout the distribution system by 3-26-18 and that the system will need to go through the plan review process with DWS for the installation. I informed him that he will be receiving a letter from DWS to that effect. I also advised him of the requirement that a Level 2 Coliform Investigation be conducted. ACTION NEEDED: Conduct a Level 2 Coliform Investigation by 10-13-17, install DWS approved treatment to maintain disinfectant residual throughout the system by 3-26-18. | ||
