| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact water system regarding temporary routine same that tested positive for coliform. DETAILS: Contacted Marty St. Louis regarding recent positive coliform sample collected from the spring. Informed the Mr. St. Louis that spring sample should be marked as a triggered source sample and that he needed to collect one more temporary routine sample from the distribution system. Mr. St Louis indicated that he shocked chlorinated and flushed the system prior to collecting the temporary routine samples and he thinks that stagnat water in the distribution system is leaking past thebackflow valve on the spring pump and contaminating the raw water samples. He is looking into reparing the backflow valve to see if that will correct the problem at the raw water sample tap. ACTION NEEDED: Repair backflow valve, change spring sample from temporary routine sample to a triggered source sample and collect one additional routine sample. | ||
