| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ routine sample DETAILS: The system had collected a routine sample on 9/20/17. It tested positive for total coliform bacteria. No repeat samples were collected triggered a Level 2 investigation. This investigation was performed over the phone. The repeat samples were not collected as the ranger who oversees the sample collection was out for several days. They also felt that their current chlorination system is malfunctioning and have been working on a solution. A replacement system is being evaluated by the system. I informed Jim that any replacement would need to go through the plan review process prior to purchase/installation of the unit. The plan review packet was emailed along with the fee information for the review. ACTION NEEDED: System was triggered into monthly coliform monitoring due to the missed samples. The system already samples monthly so this will not affect them. System to submit plan review information for a new chlorination unit if that is what is decided. System to test remaining backflow device if it is not taken out of the system. | ||
