| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli positive in well #2, confirmation sampling… DETAILS: Alan informed five samples from the well #2 are needed to confirm E. coli before shock chlorinating well. Alan said he was not going to collect 5 samples. He was informed that failure to adequately confirm E. coli can result in presumed confirmation and a requirement for appropriate ongoing treatment. He reiterated that he would not collect 5 samples-- after sampling he would shock chlorinate and shut off the well until a later date. ACTION NEEDED: Relay information to Josephine Co staff. | ||
