| Details: | SUMMARY: General Assistance DETAILS: There are multiple problems with the installation, use and maintenance of this slow sand filtration system. It was not the best solution for the Indian Mary Campground because of the seasonal use of the system. Some other issues are the exposed PVC piping, flow meters and poly tanks, lack of diffuser at intake and high flows causing sand to migrate. Options for proceeding would be to install an LT2 cartridge filter after the slow sand filter (SSF) or completely abandon the SSF and install as series of cartridge filters. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
