| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform Positive DETAILS: Mr. Page was contacted by phone to notify him about the E. coli positive source result from the well (SRC-AA). In September, the water system was given several options to address the fecal contamination detected at the groundwater source, following the results of MPA testing. Salmon Run chose the option to continue using the well while providing monthly raw water samples for one year in order to comply with the Groundwater Rule. The E. coli result today was the first monthly source sample submitted. Mr. Page was instructed to take five confirmation source samples at the well (SRC-AA) and was told that if the result of these samples came back E. Coli positive, Salmon Run Golf Course will have to consider one of the other options - an alternative source of water or 4.0-log Compliance monitoring - to comply with the Groundwater Rule and address the fecal contamination in the source. ACTION NEEDED: Take five additional confirmation source samples. | ||
