Details: SUMMARY: 1/2+ MCL Nitrate Alert Follow Up DETAILS: Quarterly sample from well #2 (no treatment) was 6.5. Well #1 has treatment installed and is on an annual schedule. #2 has had recent results of 2-12.5 mg/L. The 8/1 results in SDWIS are reversed. #1 was ND and #2 was 8.0. System is aware of high results and would need confirmation sample if over 10mg/L. ACTION NEEDED: Treatement for well #2 will be required if above MCL. Initial and confirmation sample would be averaged to see if over 10.49 mg/L. Continue to take quarterly samples from well #2.
