| Details: | I emailed Matt and informed him: there was a detection of HEXACHLOROBENZENE at Illahe. It is under the MCL but the next step is to collect a confirmation sample for HEXACHLOROBENZENE. If the average of the initial sample and the confirmation sample is below the detection limit ( 0.0001) then you can return to routine monitoring. If the average of the initial and confirmation sample is > the detection limit, then quarterly monitoring is required for at least 2 quarters to determine compliance/next steps. I asked him to contact me with any questions or information on the detection. UPDATE 8/17/21: Confirmation sample collected 7/13/21 was ND. Average of both samples is below the detection limit. No change to routine monitoring schedule required. |
