| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Routine Coliform and Repeats DETAILS: Pam called to report that they had a routine positive TC in distribution and she thought it was due to the pump being pulled for repairs prior. She said they did shock the system afterwards but the next day noticed a leak near the well head. I told her that whenever work is done to the well they need to shock chlorinate and then pull a special sample for coliform. They need to go on a Boil notice until the results come back clean. She said she would get the repeat samples taken ASAP. Repeat samples were pulled on 9/19/17. The lab called yesterday and most of the repeats came back positive for TC not E.coli. I told her she could go ahead and shock chlorinate the well then take a special sample to make sure the shock worked. STAR water was also going to repair the leak. I sent Pam the Level 1 forms and asked that she send them back. ACTION NEEDED: None. | ||
