Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat Samples Positive for E. coli DETAILS: I spoke again with Alan on 11/13 regarding his E. coli positive samples. He believes the contamination may be coming from a pasture farm located behind the property (the pasture has not been used in years). The well is still disconnected and the public does not have access to the current well. Reiterated to Alan to keep the well disconnected for now. He mentioned he shocked the system a second time on 11/12, and will flush it out again today. I asked him to take two more tests and we will proceed from there. The system is looking at potentially two options right now, initiating 4-log inactivation or keeping the said well permanently disconnected. ACTION NEEDED: Next steps will be determined over the next few days and the results of the upcoming new batch of water tests Alan will take early next week. | ||
