Details: | SUMMARY: Enforcement and Compliance (L&C) DETAILS: Interim Superintendent Clint Raever hand delivered proof that the corrosion control plan is maintained adequately by qualified operator. A signed copy of the contract with Culligan and running log of actions to get system running at optimum were presented to Environmental Health on November 30, 2017.1. Provide an operation and maintenance manual that has instructions how to maintain and operate the public water system at the school. In process, almost finished. 2. Provide a qualified operator in direct responsible charge. Awaiting signed Operator Designation Application.3. Submit proof that the corrosion control system is maintained adequately by qualified personnel. Completed 11/30/2017.4. A written procedure for steps to replace the faucets that exceed action levels for lead and copper. Completed 11/30/2017.5. Submit an evaluation of the pipes in the school for lead and copper. A plumbing replacement program to re-pipe the school may resolve the problem. It is decided that you will respond to this by 3/31/18. By then the lead and copper samples will have been taken and you will be able to evaluate how well the system is working. At the present there are too many adjustments being made in the treatment. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to monitor pH, chlorine and temp. Follow up with Lincoln County and Culligan as needed.Operational Manual and signed qualified operator direct responsible charge documents due by 12/31/2017. |
