| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform Alert DETAILS: The new water system operator for River Hills Estates A, B, C and D, contacted me over the phone to clarify that the source sample and the routine sample that tested positive for total coliforms were both collected from the same location - the faucet in the Pump House. The water at this site is raw water that hasnt been treated. In other words, the routine sample does not represent the water in the distribution system. Based on this, Mr. Farnsworth was advised to collect one sample from a faucet in the distribution system and mark the sample appropriately on the form.Mr. Farnworth also stated that he will be receiving soon the bottles from the lab to collect the yearly Nitrate samples. He will request additional bottles to collect the routine samples in the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: Collect one routine sample in the distribution system and the yearly Nitrate sample for 2017. | ||
