| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic MCL Alert - Follow Up DETAILS: Lloyd called me back on 12/27. He said he always collects the routine arsenic sample in December. In March 2017 an arsenic sample was submitted with the routine IOC round. Lloyd said he is unaware of any problems with the arsenic treatment system. I asked him about the expected life of the filter media and the auto backwash process (daily). He is going to take another arsenic sample after the first of January. If the level is still high, he will have the Tx evaluated. It may be time for new filter media. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on arsenic sample in January and advise operator of next steps. | ||
