| Details: | SUMMARY: Water Quality Issues DETAILS: On 10/27/17 Stephan Stys visited the site and met with Glenn Doetsch to better understand what type of system would best work for Mountain Terrace MHP. It was determined that due to size constraints a precipitation system would not work, and because of the quantity of water being processed a reverse osmosis or nanofiltration would not be practical. The two alternatives left to remove the required amount of arsenic from the water would be ion exchange or adsorption possibly with a peroxidation process. To determine what system would be best for Mountain Terrace it is recommended that a speciation of the arsenic that will not all ow the arsenic ions to oxidize before testing would be performed and a comprehensive microscopic particulate analysis (MPA) to determine at least: TDS, Iron, pH, sulfate and chloride levels.
