| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: Cold Springs Water Company has a history of coliform “hits” both at their source and in distribution. Washington County has notified the operator that per OHA, they need to install disinfection prior to December 9th, 2020. Assistance Provided: The circuit rider reached out to Scott Peterson and scheduled a site visit on 10/26/2020. The water system consists of a springbox that feeds a 4,000 gallon cistern, from the cistern the water flows through a 2” PVC pipe approximately 2,300’ to the first user. Scott Peterson requested help in modifying the original schematic due to issues with installation of the chlorinator on an adjacent farmer’s property. The contact pipe would need to be shortened and Scott requested help with both calculation of the CT and to check over his plan check submission. The circuit rider also assisted with putting together a small treatment structure and test port and flow schematic ideas for the system.
