| Details: | SUMMARY: Level 1 triggered - multiple TC detections DETAILS: The water system collected its remaining two monthly routine coliform samples on 1/17/18. Both samples came back positive for total coliform. The samples had a free chlorine residual of 0.31 and both were taken at the same location. (Fire Station 2) There was no clear indication of where the source of the total coliform bacteria was. There was a sampling tube attached to the faucet that after the detections was taken to the Citys treatment plant lab and sanitized. Discussed the Citys options and recommended filling out the Level 1 form and trying to determine the source of contamination as opposed to taking additional compliance samples. ACTION NEEDED: Complete Level 1 form and turn in to DWS. Review coliform sampling plan and sampling procedure to see if it can be fine tuned. | ||
