Details: | Background/Problem Identification: The City of Myrtle Creek operates a treatment facility serving a population of 3,490 with 1,490 connections in Myrtle Creek Oregon. The water system contacted the Circuit Rider to schedule a tracer study based on their current system configuration. The water system provides surface water treatment from the source intake on the South Umpqua River. A tracer study was previously scheduled in 2020 and was re-scheduled due to a change of the first user location. Assistance Provided: 1. 3-16-21 The circuit rider conducted a chlorine tracer study with the system running at peak capacity of 900gpm. At 12:00pm the chlorine dosing was increased per the calculated dose parameters by the system operator, data collected, and the tracer study completed successfully. 2. 3-19-21 The circuit rider compiled the data from the Tracer Study into report format. 3. 3-22-21 The circuit rider submitted the tracer study report to OHA and the WD.
