| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to well #5 tetrachloroethylene detect DETAILS: I spoke to Derrick about the Citys 1/19/2018 PCE sample result of 0.0019 mg/L from well #5, which was greater than the detection limit of 0.0005 mg/L, but less than the MCL of 0.005 mg/L. This result is in range with previous well #5 PCE detects. Well #5 used as a back-up source to wells #9 and 8, and ran to the system for one cycle a week. ACTION NEEDED: City to continue on annual PCE sampling from entry point F with well #5 contributing only, annually during the first quarter, with the next sample in first quarter 2019. City to report detect in consumer confidence report for 2018. | ||
