| Details: | SUMMARY: System Operation Period Changed to Seasonal DETAILS: I contacted Lura Huff over the phone to ask her about the coliform sample they failed to report for the last quarter of 2017. Lura didn’t know they had to take a sample between Oct – Dec 2017. She stated that the camp’s operating period is May 24th to September 31st. SDWIS is showing their operation period to be year-round. ACTION NEEDED: Contact DWS to update sys. info. in SDWIS. The operator was instructed to do the following:- Follow the seasonal-start-up-procedure--- Return a completed start-up-checklist certifying completion of required startup procedures before the system opens to the public. I emailed Lura a copy of the seasonal-start-up checklist.- Start collecting coliform samples each month during the operating season. | ||
