| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed Action Plan to Address Coliform Contamination of SRC AA DETAILS: The operator reported that his pump failed and the system is now hooked up to Harbor Water via an underground line. No water is being provided from the existing well - SRC AA. They have opted to disconnect the existing well and provide an approved alternative source of water. Mr. Law already contacted Bandon Well to dig a new source, but that work will not take place until June 2018. The new source will be a drilled well. The operators plan is to locate the new well more than 100 feet away from SRC AA. ACTION NEEDED: Operator: was instructed to continue collecting one quarterly coliform sample and one annual nitrate sample-- download the plan review information packet for “New Well Instructions” and contact the DWS office. Discontinue monthly disinfection of source SRC AA.Kent: Notify DMCE of the new source and request to cancel the monthly chlorine residual monitoring requirement. | ||
