Details: | SUMMARY: Significant Deficiencies: Reminder DETAILS: On March 9th, 2018, I contacted the Barton Food Mart to remind them that their Significant Deficiencies are not complete, and are due March 23rd, 2018. Deficiencies including the Emergency Response Plan, Operations and Maintenance Manual, and Coliform Sampling Plan.Mr. Sukhjit Toor, co-owner, responded on March 12th, by resending a previously rejected submission. The firm previously submitted substandard documents on December, 12th 2017. That same day, I sent the submitted documents back with edits showing requirements for acceptance. My comments generally highlighted sections of the 12/12 submission that were incomplete.I responded on 3/12 further explaining the deficiencies of the 12/12 submision, why it would not be accepted then or now, and how to improve the submission. Mr. Toor responded back to ask if it is the firms responsibility to fill out the forms or if their sampling lab should complete them. I notified the firm it was their responsibility. I offered that they might wish to request assistance from their water lab, who does all sample collection onsite, in completing the coliform sampling plan. Mr. Toor later contacted me about his total coliform and E. Coli sampling, thinking he still needed to complete his testing for this quarter. I notified him that his firm had already submitted a sample for the quarter in early January. ACTION NEEDED: Await the arrival of the completed Emergency Repsonse Plan, Coliform Sampling Plan, and Operations & Maintenance Manual. |
