| Details: | Chris True called me 7-8-21 to report that a routine coliform sample taken 7-6-21 was total coliform positive and that he was on his way to deliver 3 repeat samples to the lab. I explained to him that a raw water source assessment sample taken from the spring (SRC-AA) was also needed as they chlorinate for residual maintenance. He said he would take that sample tomorrow (July 9th). I asked Chris to keep me posted and thanked him for calling. Triggered source sampling at SRC-AA completed on 7-8-21 and upstream and downstream repeat sampling completed on 7-7-21 were coliform absent, but the repeat sample taken 7-7-21 at the original 970 Methodist Road hose bib sample site was total coliform positive again. Upon further investigation, a service line leak was found at the shut-off valve past the service meter prior to the sampled hose bib. A request to invalidate the original positive sample was submitted to OHA-DMCE via e-mail on 7-12-21 and approved on 7-13-21. A replacement sample was taken for July and was coliform absent. | ||
