| Details: | SUMMARY: Level 2 Coliform Investigation DETAILS: I met up with Mary Lou Warren, Heath Cokeley, and Scott Berry on 03/27/2018 onsite. I conducted the Level 2 investigation. Some of the deficiencies found were, swivel faucets where samples were collected and there is likely a biomat or sediment present in the holding tanks. Operator is unaware when the last time tanks were cleaned out and also Scott Berry from OWAU stated that both tanks smelled like a "swamp". We discussed that well 1 was likely the source of contamination since previous source samples from well 1 were coming up TC positive. I provided Mary Lou with a plan review packet in which she will fill out and submit to the state prior to installing a new disinfectant system. We discussed shocking well #1, batch mixing and shocking the tanks, installing non-swivel faucets to take samples from, updating her coliform sampling plan, and installing a chlorine injector once it’s approved by the state. ACTION NEEDED: Submit review to the State for installation of chlorinator. | ||
