| Details: | On 7/6/21 the water system collected a nitrate result that tested at 15.4ppm. The water system collected 3 follow up nitrate samples on 7/8/21 following the very high nitrate result. Individual spring results came back as: SRC-AA Whitmore was non-detect and SRC-AB Dorrance was 1.17ppm. The entry point (combined source) sample result was non-detect. Due to the very low result, no public notice was needed. The very high result is still a mystery. The lab assured me that the high result was valid. System is continuing to evaluate the situation. |
