| Details: | Today a voicemail was left for the operator and an email was sent to the operator about the recent vioaltion that the system received for not submitting 3 temporary routine samples during the month of June. It was also explained that the system is now responsible for monthly coliform sampling for 12 consecutive months. The operator contacted me on the phone and we discussed the above. He explained, that Grants Pass water lab had been hired to perform all testing and that he would be in contact with them to find out what is going on. 7/26/21 Eric of the Grants Pass Water lab contacted me by phone yesterday to let me know that he would be conducting the level 1 investigation in the near future. At the time I did not have access to Data Online or a computer. It was explained that Level 1 investigation was likely far past due at this point and that turned out to be true. It was due at the end of June and is over 1 month overdue. Eric then went on to explain that "there is a labor shortage" and seemed to be attempting to be making excuses for why sampling and the required investigation had not been done in a timely manner. It then seemed like he attempted to shift blame to me. 7/27/21 An email response was sent to the operator explaining the conversation with Grants Pass Water Lab. It was explained that the system is responsible for monthly sampling now and that we are at the end of July and still have yet to receive the sample results for this month. A link to the facilities Data Online information was also provided to the owner so they can review all sampling requirements etc. |
