Contact Method/Location: Email

Assistance Type: WATER QUALITY ALERT RESPONSE
Reasons: Nitrate

Details: This report is for having a Nitrate above the MCL.
The park put in a nitrate removal system in Dec. 2020... it work good for two samples, then started to read high... above 5.0mg/L.
I've tried to contact Brian, yet no response.
He did say awhile back that there are new managers and they will do a better job. He also mentioned he would get the company that installed it back out to tweak the operations.
The system, when I visited on 7-30-21, had gotten a new booster pump and new tubing. The salt canisters, all three, were all full.
Last contact was in April, 2021.
I will let Box R Water Labs know they are supposed to sample monthly, for 12 consecutive months. That is the agreement the park has with the state drinking water.
I will try again to contact the new managers.
