| Details: | Today phone contact was made with the operator regarding the latest coliform positive test result. It was discussed that the firm will be receiving a letter regarding the requirement to install approved treatment by February of 2022. It was also recommended that a professional be hired to assess the system and it was recommended that since the system has yet to shock the well as a corrective action, that the well be shocked. It was recommended that special samples be taken to further determine issues. It was discussed that monthly sampling should continue as usual. 8/26/21 Today phone contact was made with the operator to check to see if they had shocked the well, had the system assessed or if any special samples had come back negative for coliforms. The operator explained that none of this had yet to occur as it has been difficult to get anyone out to their system with labor shortages. It was explained that the firm must have the well shocked, the system cleaned as necessary, and special samples that come back negative in order to remain from having to install treatment. |
