| Details: | OHA received a manganese test result for City of St Paul at 0.661 mg/L collected from EP-A. I emailed Ben asking him to confirm sample was collected post-greensand filtration and information about the EPA health advisory level. I recommended he collect a confirmation sample at EP-A and analyze for manganese as soon as possible, and if the confirmation is also over the 0.3 mg/L health advisory level, notify their customers. He could also skip the confirmation sample and elect to notify customers now. Ben indicated they have had problems with the green sand filters filling up with well sand, and that they are currently in the process of switching over to a better well, the contractor has been hired and that should start soon. He indicated they would skip the confirmation sample and issue the advisory on 8/10/21. | ||
