| Details: | I received a complaint from a resident on 8/13/21 regarding the aesthetic water quality. The resident complained that the water smelled like rotten eggs and had gotten progressively worse over the past month. I contacted Manfred Doerner to ask if the treatment system was functioning. He said he needed to make sure his son had loaded the ion-exchange system with salt. I inquired about the monthly coliform report listing a residual of .02 ppm. He said he was not sure that the test kit was being read correctly. We discussed chlorine residuals at .2 ppm or higher. I offered to make a sight visit to look at their test kit to insure the correct data is reported. |
