Reasons: Coliform
 
Details: Contacted Terra Kemper, OPRD Park Ranger, regarding the recent positive coliform sample and to discuss the population of the water system. Terra indicated that they collected their three repeat samples and source sample. The lab informed her that the results would be complete by the end of the day. We also discussed the next steps (Level 1 and corrective action)if a repeat sample tests positive. Terra also stated that they would like to install residual chlorination so we discussed the plan review requirements and the location of plan review documents on the DWS webpage. Terra said she would provide population calculations from the past three years.

Update 09/22/21: Terra Kemper sent an email informing Drinking Water Services that after two corrective actions (pipe repair at site #24 and shock chlorination)the special samples indicated that distribution system was absent for coliform. The system also provided updated population counts which change the system from State regulated to Transient NonCommunity.
