Details: | Susan Baker, Jackson Co. Environmental Health, contacted Drinking Water Services (DWSs) regarding two complaints regarding the lack of water at the Cascade George Properties water system. The system was contacted on 8/20/18 and Steve Lalandi returned my call on 8/21/18 to inform DWSs that the system looses pressure when either the membrane filters plug or someone leaves a sprinkler on the system runs out of water. Mr. Lalandi was not aware of the requirement to notify DWS when the system looses water pressure and post a Boil Water Notice for Loss of Pressure for the people who consume the water. Mr. Lalandi said he would start using the Loss of Pressure template from our website. Mr. Lalandi also indicated that there are 15 connections, but he was not sure if all the residences are occupied. Mr. Lalandi was informed that he should count the number of full time connections and the number of users who use the water year round and/or more than 6 months per year. Mr. Lanlandi said he would contact the water system owner Kevin Gip for assistance in providing the information and would call back with the information. |
