Assistance Type: OTHER REGULATORY - Loss of pressure Break in water line causing disruption of service
Reasons: Other

Details: Received information via email of a disruption in water service to all connections to this water system. According to Mr. Kolousek, a logging operation damaged the water line between the source and the storage tanks, causing the storage tanks to drain. The result was no water or water pressure in the system. Arrangements were being made to get emergency water from the Joint Water Commission (JWC). All users of the system will be on a boil water notice until repairs are completed to the damaged water line, tanks are refilled and the system re-pressurized and coliform samples from the lab confirm the water safe to consume.
