| Details: | Received a call from Matt Kaatz on Friday afternoon followed by an email:"The City of West Linn will be issuing a boil water advisory for our Robinwood Zone due to a loss of pressure. A contractor working in West Linn hit a fire hydrant with a dump truck and caused a water main break that lowered pressure thru the Robinwood Zone. The water pressure has been restored, city crews are flushing and collecting (3) water samples representative of the entire zone. Samples will be dropped off at the Clackamas River Water’s lab tomorrow morning with results being read on Sunday morning. If all samples pass we will lift the boil water notice Sunday Morning. City staff has made a post on our social media page, updated our website with the information and are putting out a press release. I will let you know Sunday the results of our samples and when we lift the boil water notice. Update on Sunday, 10/17/21:Bacteria samples came out negative and therefore the advisory was lifted. Update: Water system confirmed that 800 homes were affected, higher number than previously estimated. |
