| Details: | I reached the manager of Meadowbrook Grocery by phone today. We discussed the unresolved significant deficiency at the grocery. I explained the setback rules and the underground fuel tanks that were identified as too close to the well head as well. I outlined the process for resolving the compliance issue including the construction waiver process and crafting a plan for compliance. The manager agreed to communicate a corrective action timeline to me. I followed up our phone conversation with an email detailing the information above and provided links to relevant websites and forms. The manager discussed the following protections against a leaking fuel tank: • Yearly ODEQ tank leak testing • Constant electronic tank level monitoring with reports daily that include metrics for identifying tank leaks. |
