| Details: | 11.07.21-Janie emailed me to inform that she has paid the water system annual fee and will now collect a routine sample for the last quarter of 2021. 10.25.2021-I spoke with Ms. Janie Coopride over the phone regarding the Broadbent Post Office water system. She stated that in 2019 she purchased her new home along with the water rights to the spring located on 51008 Dement Creek Rd. Janie clarified that the post office is no longer connected to the distribution lines. However, if needed, there are two storage tanks on the post office property that can be filled using a hose. I contacted the post office and spoke with Meghan, the office clerk. She confirmed the building is not getting water from the spring. She brings her water from home to use at the office. Janie stated that there are two other houses that also have rights to use the water. One house is directly behind the spring (unknown address) and the other house is her neighbor across the street on 51013 Dement Rd. Current population using the water: - 9 people per day. Current number of connections: - Janie’s home on 51014 Dement Creek Rd, - Neighbor across the street on 51013 Dement Rd - Rental home owned by Janie located on 51024 Dement Creek Rd, and - Home directly behind the spring (unknown address) I emailed DMCE to update the contact information for this system. |
