| Details: | Received alert for a total coliform positive result from a routine sample collected on 10/26/21. Spoke with Doug regarding the required repeat samples. No triggered source sample is required in this case as the well serving this part of the property was confirmed to have E. coli and has a 4-log disinfection system installed. The chlorine residual at the time of the sample was 1.2 mg/l, which is significantly more than the minimum required to achieve 4-log viral disinfection. Doug thinks the laundry sink where the sample was collected is not a good sample point due to its having open access by the public. Doug will also collect the required nitrate samples this month. | ||
