Details: Called Monica Carter regarding the sodium and fluoride alert received yesterday afternoon.
Fluoride at its second MCL (which is over half of the 4.0 mcl but still under) does not appear to have requirements for public notice as this is a non-community system.
I noted to Monica that if the fluoride levels go above 4.0 at the next sample date, the monitoring will switch to quarterly, but at this time we have no additional action for the fluoride levels as well as the sodium levels.

Reminder to Monica that we have not been receiving chlorine residuals documented with the routine coliform sampling at the Dam. She agreed and her team as well as herself have taken the small water operators training, will be all taking time to ensure that proper use of the chlorine test kit is known, and that this information makes it through the chain of custody.

On the chemical sampling summary page, it shows that DBP samples are incomplete. Brad Daniels has confirmed via email separately that John Day completed this sampling in 2019 and was not required to sample DBP again until 2022.

Associated Alerts: CHEM9531 - 11/08/2021 - FLUORIDE , SODIUM
