| Details: | The Repeat samples for the recent routine coliform sample were positive for total coliform and triggered a Level 2 investigation. A Level 1 Investigation was completed by the water system on 11/22/2021 and a Water System Survey was completed by the ODA on 12/03/2021. There were no problems noted by the water system operator and no direct problems were noted by the regulatory agency (except for the lack of protective covering for the water source). The water source was shock chlorinated and subsequent sampling was absent for total coliform. Additionally, I discussed the recent sampling schedule change for coliform from quaterly to monthly based on the missed first quarter sample and the triggered Level 1 investigation with the water system operator. I sent the water system operator the rule outlining the water sampling schedule change and he will follow up with ODA and DWP staff to discuss the change in monitoring schedule. |
