| Details: | OHA-DWS had requested that Salem do two 6-month rounds of lead and copper monitoring due to the installation of powdered activated carbon (PAC) to control cyanotoxins or submit an evaluation showing the PAC does not impact corrosivity of the drinking water to avoid the increased monitoring schedule. Salem indicated that the PAC was only added for a short duration (total of 29 hours) due to operational challenges and requested postponing increased lead and copper monitoring until such time as PAC is consistently being fed. Request approved by OHA-DWS this date. | ||
