| Details: | System had three days (Oct 24,25, and 27, 2021) in which the pH ranged between 7.31 and 7.35, below their 7.4 minimum allowed pH for corrosion control treatment. The alert for the 3 excursions was received on 11/15/21. I had conducted a water system survey on 10-26-21 and noted that their target pH was 7.5 - 7.6, which is recorded daily, and that an alkalinity minimum needed to be set for their soda ash treatment system. All other days from daily entry point pH readings were at or above a pH of 7.4. 12/28/21 update - system is allowed up to 9 excursions in a 6-month period and no further excursions have occurred to date, therefore no further action is required at this time. Their next round of lead and copper is in 2022, which will provide the data needed to establish a minimum alkalinity. | ||
