Details:	12.29.2021- Monitoring not current: The 5 residences uphill of water treatment plant did not appear reflected in sampling plans and are not reflected in the 2014 tracer study. This was identified as a significant deficiency in the 2021 survey report. To address this issue, Ryan is working on a plan to put a sampling port before the meter that goes up the hill. Once this is completed, they will be collecting daily water samples from the east stem of distribution and it will be reflected on the DMCE report that is recorded daily. The City manager and Ryan will complete a tracer study as well to determine if the trunk is first user or the original line is still first user. Ryan will notify me via email once the work is completed. The system has been trying to get this project done sooner, but daily maintenance has kept them from doing so, and the weather(icy roads) has been detrimental to the safe completion of this project. The due date to complete this project has been extended to March 18, 2022. I reminded Ryan that the City’s population does qualify it for the Oregon Health Authority Drinking Water Services (DWS) circuit rider assistance program, and it is encouraged that the City contact the circuit rider to assist with the new tracer study. if the new tracer study will translate to new minimum contact time at a new entry point location, the water system must get DWS approval. If the tracer study is being planned to be used for compliance purposes, it should be reported similarly to their 2014 report.
