| Details: | Discuss with operator the 5 confirmation samples that are needed to confirm the positive E. coli sample collected from the well on 8/31/18. He claims that these were brought in this morning. He also shares information regarding routine/repeat samples that were collected from the storage tank (post chlorination) that on Aug. 22 and 28th that were free of E. Coli and coliform. At the time of sample submittal to the lab the operator did not give a public water system number and so these test results were not submitted to OHA. I have since asked Neilson Labs to resubmit these results to SDWIS. In addition to the source samples I requested a distribution sample (not the contact tank) to be submitted ASAP. He claims that over the weekend he was testing the chlorine levels with a dipstick that showed residual chlorine in the water. He has ordered a Chlorine Color Disc Test Kit which should be at his address today or tomorrow. |
