Details:	SUMMARY: Positive total coliform and e. coli routine sample collected 1/5/2006 DETAILS: I had a message from Dorothy Brickenhoff (sp?) at Alpine Pump on 1/6/2006 stating that she had just been notified by the lab that the routine coliform sample collected for Alpine W.C. was present for both total coliform and e. coli. It was late on Friday and she was not able to reach anyone in the Portland office and was directed to leave a message on Tom Charbonneaus voice mail. She did access our web site and used the public notice template on-line to notify each customer. I returned her phone call this morning and spoke with Gary who said they were going to collect the required four repeats tomorrow and do a thorough inspection of the system. On a side note, this is a new well since the previous e. coli positive samples collected back in January 2004. I did direct Gary to call Benton County Environmental Health with the results of the repeat samples. ACTION NEEDED: Benton County to follow-up. Collect a copy of the public notice if repeats are positive. Advise on additional sample requirements for February.
