Details: SUMMARY: Waterline for blending well water with tank water DETAILS: David called asking about a requirement that a waterline be put in for blending of the well water and the water from the springs in the tank. He thought that I had required the city to install such a waterline, as a follow up to the sanitary survey in 2003. I reviewed the file and my memory, and I had made no such requirement. Also, I explained to him that the only requirement we have about this situation is that the city maintain free chlorine residual. The survey does not show this to be a problem, but even if it was, we would just require that it be fixed, but wouldnt specify exactly how it was to be done. David said that the city already installed this waterline (no plan review???), but due to a land use issue with the county, lawyers need to be involved. Since I did not require the waterline as he had thought, he will continue to work on the land use issues and an engineer for the city may contact us in the future. ACTION NEEDED: look in to need for plan review of this project (major or minor modification).
