Details: SUMMARY: Exceeded THM MCL in August 2005 DETAILS: Jim called because Gary from Yamhill County called him after receiving an alert about a high THM result. One result was quite high at 0.156 ppm. The other was low, so the average is 0.084 ppm. Since the MCL is 0.080, this exceeds the MCL. I told him that they will have to do quarterly monitoring at both sites for both THMs and HAA5s. Compliance is based on the RAA, so we will go over the results again in about a year. Though the exceedence was in August, the alert was issued in the end of december, and Gary just recently called him, so the quarterly schedule will start in the second quarter 2006. ACTION NEEDED: set new chem monitoring schedule for quarterly beginning 2nd qtr 06.
