| Details: | SUMMARY: Concern regarding GWUDI Monitoring DETAILS: Lori called with concerns regarding GWUDI monitoring with respect to the absence of a raw water tap and the costs associated with collecting the samples. I explained that our concern was that under pumping conditions water could be drawn into the well from nearby Knowles Creek. That disinfection alone is not always effective against Giardia and Crypto and that testing is required due to federal regulations. I also told her that Karen Kelley or Dennis Nelson would conduct a follow-up phone call. I did not cover other potentially more costly options. ACTION NEEDED: Call back from Karen or Dennis. A review of the information that led to the water system being selected for GWUDI Monitoring. | ||
