Details:	SUMMARY: Assistance with equipment and operational problems DETAILS: BACKGROUND Since 2005 the system exceeded the MCL for turbidity in 13 out of 16 reporting periods. A number of other deficiencies noted during the Sanitary Survey will be prioritized for assistance by the Circuit Rider Program. ACTIONS PERFORMED was to evaluate the Quality Control procedures practiced by the operator regarding the online HACH 1720C turbid meter. I reviewed the O and M Manual, specifically calibration of the online turbidity equipment and the bench top NTU meter. Cindy found the exercise easy and was confident she could perform the calibrations unassisted in the future. I suggested she operate with this calibration for a couple of days and then change the bulb and recalibrate the instrument. A record will be kept. The services of the HCTH Technician should not be required for this function in the future. Following the visit to the System, I communicated with the system to let them know of the progress I thought we had made in solving some of the issues related to the turbidity issues. We also discussed the need to keep moving forward addressing the deficiencies on regular basis. System agreed.
