Details:	SUMMARY: 1 routine sample collected on 10/04/06 at the service sink sample site tested positive for total coliform DETAILS: I called and spoke with Lee. He intended to mark this sample special per my suggestion. I requested that Lee take a special sample last week even though the previous 4 repeat samples were negative. I requested this because the time between chlorination and repeat sampling was less than one day. The special sample was to check for regrowth given more time since the system shock. This routine sample indicated that the suspected regrowth is a reality. I have asked Lee to try to isolate the problem with more special sampling tomorrow (of each storage tank individually, the source, and varying points in the distribution). Lee agreed to do this special sampling. Note that a repeat sample collected on the 6th from the service sink sample site also tested positive for total coliform. See the next alert. ACTION NEEDED: Lee needs to implement special sampling to isolate the cause of this persistent problem.
