Details:	SUMMARY: Cross Connection Enabling Authority DETAILS: I called Mr Beach to discuss the need for a Cross Connection Enabling Authority, EA and discussed the status of the CCC program for the park. He agreed to meet with me so I modified an example EA to fit the needs of this system and prepare a draft cover letter that can be used for submittal to the state DWP. Also printed a draft of the ASR. I met with Mr Beach to review the information. Advised Mr Beach that a double Check Valve is required for each underground sprinkler system and they must be tested each year. That is one of the reasons to have the EA. Also, recommended that he provide a hose bibb vacuum breaker for each outside faucet. In lieu of that he should require tenants that use hose connected fertilizer applicators or pesticide applications to install a hose bib vacuum breaker. Reminded him that the ASR is due by 3-31. Mr Beach stated that the owner of the park would have to adopt the EA ACTION NEEDED: The Park manager or owner needs to adopt the EA and submit a copy to DWP along with the recommended cover letter and the ASR by 3.31.
